Overview
LOOOT.IO protects every transaction with TradeShield Escrow. Your money is held securely until the seller completes delivery. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are issued, how long they take, and what qualifies.
Refunds occur when transaction conditions are not met. We prioritize buyer protection while maintaining fair treatment of sellers.
When Refunds Are Issued
Non-Delivery (Within Delivery Window)
If the seller fails to deliver the purchased item within the agreed delivery window (or platform SLA if no custom window specified):
- Buyer can request a full refund 24 hours past delivery deadline
- No proof or evidence required if deadline is exceeded
- Refund is automatic upon buyer request (escrow voided)
- Funds returned within 2 business hours (Stripe) or 1 hour (crypto)
Substantially Wrong Item Delivered
If the seller delivers an item that does not match the listing description (wrong game, wrong account, incorrect quantity, etc.):
- Buyer can open a dispute within 7 days of delivery confirmation
- Must provide proof (screenshots, video, in-game logs)
- Admin review typically completes within 48–72 hours
- Full refund issued if seller is found at fault
Buyer-Initiated Dispute Won
If a buyer opens a dispute and LOOOT.IO admin rules in the buyer's favor:
- Partial or full refund issued based on evidence
- Decision communicated to both parties within 24 hours of resolution
- Refund processed immediately to original payment method
- No appeal fee; one appeal is permitted per dispute
Platform Error or Double Charge
If LOOOT.IO systems cause an error (double charge, incomplete transaction state, failed API delivery):
- Immediate full refund issued
- No dispute process required; contact support at /contact
- Compensation (store credit or bonus) may be offered if data loss occurred
When Refunds Are NOT Issued
Successful Delivery of Verified Item
Once you confirm receipt of the item in-game or via trade, the transaction is final. Refunds are not issued for:
- Buyer's remorse or change of mind
- Decisions to resell at a lower price
- Dissatisfaction with the marketplace condition or meta-game value
Confirm delivery only after you have verified the item matches the listing and is usable.
Outside 7-Day Dispute Window
After 7 calendar days have passed since delivery confirmation, disputes cannot be opened. This window cannot be extended.
Chargeback Attempts Outside Dispute Window
If a buyer initiates a chargeback through their bank/credit card company instead of using LOOOT.IO's dispute system:
- LOOOT.IO will fight the chargeback using transaction evidence
- Buyer's account will be flagged for chargeback fraud
- Account may be suspended pending investigation
- Buyer remains liable for chargeback fees imposed by Stripe/bank
Disputes Opened Without Evidence
Disputes lacking any supporting evidence (screenshots, logs, chat history) may be denied if the seller provides proof of delivery. Reopen the dispute with evidence.
Refund Timelines
Once a refund is approved, funds are returned to your original payment method. Timing depends on your payment processor:

Note: Processing times are out of LOOOT.IO's control. Your bank may take additional time to reflect the refund.
How to Request a Refund
Refund requests flow through LOOOT.IO's dispute system. No separate refund request process exists.
For Non-Delivery:
- Navigate to your Orders page at /orders
- Find the order that did not receive delivery
- Click "Open Dispute"
- Select reason: "Item Not Delivered"
- Submit; refund processes automatically within 2 hours
For Item Mismatch or Quality Issues:
- Navigate to /orders and find the order
- Click "Open Dispute" and select "Wrong Item" or "Not As Described"
- Upload screenshots, video, or in-game logs as proof
- Our admin team reviews within 48–72 hours and issues a decision via email and Order Detail page
- If approved, refund processes within 2 hours
Appeals Process
If a dispute is resolved unfavorably, you may file one appeal per dispute. The appeal must provide new evidence not presented in the original dispute.
How to Appeal:
- On the dispute details page, click "File an Appeal"
- Explain why the original decision was incorrect
- Attach new evidence (screenshots, chat history, API logs)
- Submit for re-review
Appeals are reviewed by a different admin team member within 72 hours. The appeal decision is final and binding.
Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where LOOOT.IO is incorporated. Specific jurisdiction details will be finalized during legal counsel review.
Any disputes over this policy are subject to the Dispute Resolution and Binding Arbitration clause in our Terms of Service.
