Delivery Guide
Last modified: 2026-04-19
Overview
Delivery is the core of every transaction on LOOOT.IO. This guide explains delivery methods, seller responsibilities, buyer verification steps, and how to handle delivery issues.
Understanding how delivery works helps you trade confidently and settle disputes quickly if something goes wrong.
Delivery Methods Explained
1. Instant API Delivery
For games with API integrations (e.g., selected MMOs and online games), the seller submits delivery via our API integration.
- Delivery is automated and instant (within 60 seconds)
- Funds are delivered directly via in-game mail or transfer API
- Buyer receives notification in-game immediately
- No manual steps required after seller confirms delivery
- Delivery is recorded in game logs and TradeShield audit trail
2. Manual In-Game Delivery
For games without API integrations, the seller manually delivers the item in-game (trade, mail, gold drop, etc.).
- Seller and buyer must be online at agreed time
- Seller delivers item via in-game trade window, mail, drop, or method specified in listing
- Buyer verifies receipt in their character inventory or mail
- Buyer clicks "Confirm Delivery" on Order Detail page
- Only after confirmation does escrow release to seller
3. Face-to-Face Delivery
For full account handovers or sensitive trades, face-to-face delivery via Zoom or Discord screen-share is available.
- Both parties schedule a live video call
- Seller shares screen showing login, credential handover, or inventory transfer
- Buyer witnesses the full process in real-time
- Call is recorded (seller consent required per Terms)
- Buyer confirms delivery; escrow releases
Seller Responsibilities
Timely Delivery
- Deliver within the time window specified in the listing (or 24 hours if no window)
- If a custom delivery time was agreed, honor it exactly
- Contact buyer immediately if you foresee a delay
- After SLA expires, buyer can open a non-delivery dispute
Correct Item Delivery
- Deliver exactly what was promised in the listing
- Correct amount (no shorting currency or items)
- Correct game/server if applicable
- Correct account (full name, rank, gear if selling accounts)
- Account must not be flagged for ban risk or recovery attempts
Delivery Proof & Documentation
- For manual delivery: buyer confirms in-game receipt (no additional proof needed)
- For account sales: provide proof of login, credentials, recovery email changes
- For API delivery: our system logs proof automatically
- If asked to provide proof (dispute scenario), provide authentic screenshots/logs
Communication
- Respond to buyer messages within 24 hours
- Provide delivery time/method before transaction starts
- Notify buyer immediately if delivery is delayed
- Do not share personal contact info (phone, Discord, etc.) outside order chat
Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers play a critical role in confirming delivery. Understanding your role reduces disputes and keeps the marketplace healthy.
Verify Receipt Carefully
- Check that delivered item matches the listing exactly
- For currency: count the amount in-game
- For items: verify stats, rarity, level, cosmetics
- For accounts: log in and inspect level, rank, gear, cosmetics
- Do NOT confirm until fully satisfied with the item
Prompt Confirmation
- Confirm delivery within 24 hours of receiving the item
- Click "Confirm Delivery" on Order Detail page
- Once confirmed, the transaction is final (7-day dispute window applies)
Accurate Delivery Details
- Provide correct character/account name for manual delivery
- Be online at agreed delivery time (or arrange alternative)
- If you can't make it, reschedule with seller in the order chat
Report Issues Immediately
- If item is not delivered after 24 hours, contact seller in order chat
- If item is wrong or incomplete, contact seller and request correction
- If item is delivered but account is compromised, open a dispute immediately
- Do NOT confirm delivery if you are unsure—ask clarifying questions first
What Counts as "Delivered"?
For Currency & Items
Delivered = Item appears in buyer's in-game inventory, mail, or trade window.
- Buyer can see it, hold it, or spend it
- In-game logs show the transfer
- Buyer has sole control of the asset
For Full Accounts
Delivered = Buyer can log into the account with provided credentials and all promised items/level/cosmetics are present.
- Buyer successfully changes recovery email to their own
- Buyer successfully sets new password
- All in-game assets match listing description
- Account has no active recovery attempts from original owner
What Does NOT Count as Delivered
- Seller sends credentials but buyer cannot log in
- Item is mailed but has not yet arrived in buyer's mailbox
- Seller claims delivery happened but no in-game evidence exists
- Account login works but items are missing or different from listing
Delivery Windows & Timeline Expectations
Delivery times vary by method, game, and seller availability. Here are typical timelines:
| Method | Typical Window |
|---|---|
| Instant API | 1–2 minutes |
| Manual In-Game | 30 minutes – 24 hours |
| Account Handover | 1–4 hours (after scheduling call) |
| Seller Default SLA | 24 hours from purchase |
If no custom window is specified in the listing, the default SLA is 24 hours. Seller and buyer can agree to a different window (e.g., "delivery within 2 hours").
Time Zone & Business Days Notice
Sellers and buyers operate across all time zones. When agreeing to a delivery time, clarify time zones in the order chat. Weekend/holiday deliveries may be slower due to seller availability.
Failed Delivery & Dispute Handling
If delivery does not happen, LOOOT.IO's escrow protects you. Here's the process:
Step 1: Contact the Seller (First)
- Send a message in the order chat asking about delivery status
- Be polite and specific (e.g., "I haven't received the 500 gems yet. Can you deliver today?")
- Wait 24 hours for a response
Step 2: Wait for SLA to Expire (If Needed)
- If delivery window has passed, you can open a dispute immediately
- If custom delivery time hasn't arrived yet, wait until it passes + 24 hours
Step 3: Open a Non-Delivery Dispute
- Go to Order Detail page and click "Open Dispute"
- Select "Item Not Delivered"
- Include relevant chat screenshots if seller has made excuses
- Submit the dispute
Step 4: We Review & Refund
- Admin verifies that delivery deadline has passed
- Escrow is voided and funds returned to your original payment method
- Refund typically processes within 2 hours of decision
- Seller's account is flagged for non-delivery
See the Dispute Resolution policy for full details on the dispute process, evidence requirements, and appeals.
Chargeback Protection Windows
LOOOT.IO's dispute system is designed to resolve issues faster and cheaper than bank chargebacks. Here's why:
- Disputes are free — no $15–$25 chargeback fee to the buyer or merchant
- Faster resolution — 72-hour admin review vs. 30–90 day chargeback dispute
- No account suspension — disputes stay on-platform; chargebacks flag fraud
- Evidence-based — our admins understand game mechanics; banks don't
If you attempt a chargeback instead of using our dispute system:
- Your account will be flagged for chargeback fraud
- You will be liable for chargeback processing fees ($15–$25)
- Your account may be suspended pending investigation
- We may pursue legal action for bad-faith dispute gaming
Always use LOOOT.IO's dispute system. It's faster, cheaper, and protects your account.
